Overview

The Fulfillment Network Stock Keeping Unit (FNSKU) is a unique identifier created by Amazon that is assigned to an FBA seller's product to track it. The FNSKU can be assigned to single products, sets, or bundles, but cannot be reused.

This should not be confused with the Amazon Standard Identification Number (ASIN) that is used to identify the product itself.

Is there a difference between FNSKU and SKU?

While both are Stock Keeping Units, FNSKUs and SKUs serve different purposes.

The FNSKU is assigned by Amazon and is used to identify which seller a product belongs to. It helps Amazon track the item throughout its FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) and inventory systems.

On the other hand, the SKU is created by the seller and is mainly used for internal tracking and inventory management on their end.

Does Seller Snap use FNSKU?

No, Seller Snap uses SKUs.
