FAQ: How does the AI handle Backordered Listings?
In This Article
Overview
Users that have listings that are back-ordered have the option to either have Seller Snap's AI handle the repricing automatically or set an action when a listing becomes back-ordered through the use of Conditions.
How The System Handles Back-Ordered Listings
When a listing is using AI to reprice and it becomes back-ordered, Seller Snap will not actively compete for the Buybox so as to not compromise profit margins. The AI will instead follow the price of the current Buybox winner albeit, at a slightly higher price.
Setting a Back-Ordered Condition
If users wish to have a listing behave differently when it is backordered, they may use the condition If "Back Ordered" to apply a different action.
The If "Competitor with" condition, lets users apply an action if the competitor exists in the ASIN. It has an option to only trigger an action if the competitor is currently backordered:
This option is also available to the condition: If "FBA Seller exists".
