Overview

ScanPower is an inventory management tool that is capable of scanning products for the purpose of recording purchases, intent to purchase, and product information.

With the ScanPower Integration, users may easily import cost data from ScanPower to Seller Snap for entries that have an associated SKU.

Integration Setup

Step I: Enable the integration on ScanPower

Users must enable the integration on ScanPower prior to enabling it on Seller Snap. Please consult the ScanPower knowledge base for instructions on how to do this.

Step II: Enable the Integration on Seller Snap

Users can now navigate to Seller Snap's store settings, then the integrations tab.

Users can click Configure to start the setup process.

Users will then be able to switch the toggle in order to enable the integration, as seen in the below image.

Users will be prompted to select from one of two options, listed below:

  • Default: This option will pull cost data moving forward, but will not take any historical costs.

  • Historical: This option will pull the cost data for the past 3 months, and moving forward will actively update costs.

Users who already have costs input into Seller Snap but want the costs to update moving forward should select default.

Please note: if there are multiple entries in ScanPower for the same SKU with different costs, Seller Snap will only import the most recent cost.

Seller Snap only takes in the most recent cost.

What data can be imported from ScanPower to Seller Snap?

Seller Snap currently pulls in cost data.

I enabled the ScanPower Integration today, but I realized some of my old SKUs do not have cost, If I add a cost now, will Seller Snap be able to pick up the new cost for my old SKUs and import it?

No. Seller Snap will only pull the most recent costs for entries that already have SKUs when the integration was first enabled.
