FAQ: How to Authenticate and Connect to the API

Overview

Seller Snap's API is a Premium Feature where users can access and interact with data from Seller Snap in an external interface. 

Seller Snap uses basic authentication when connecting to the API. 

In order to authenticate and connect to the Seller Snap API, users should create a dedicated API User from the platform and use that as their mode of authentication. Then users MUST inform Seller Snap support of this user as part of a 2-step verification process. 

The URL used to interface with the API is api.sellersnap.io.

Once connected users can access the documentation through the platform by clicking on Help > API Documentation

Users will then be able to view the API Documentation as long as they remain logged in.
