Sellercloud Integration

Overview

Seller Snap's integration with Sellercloud allows data to be sent from the Sellercloud platform to Seller Snap via FTP. This article will guide users in setting the integration up.

Once users are ready, they may begin the process which involves three parts:

  • On Seller Snap: Creating FTP Credentials
  • In Excel or Google Sheets: Creating a Flat File
  • On Sellercloud: Mapping, Saved Search, and Scheduling the Task.

On Seller Snap:

Creating FTP Credentials

Users who already have their Seller Snap FTP information may skip this step.

To start, users will need to navigate to the Store Settings and go to the Integrations Tab where they can click to configure the Sellercloud integration:

Once clicked, users will be able to generate their FTP credentials.

Important: The information generated here will be needed later on when users will be required to enter these details on the Sellercloud platform.

On Excel or Google Sheets:

Creating a Flat File

In order for data between Sellercloud and Seller Snap to interact and transfer properly, users will need to create a Flat File. To do this, open an excel file and enter the following:

Once done, users will need to save the file as a .CSV file.

We are now ready to move on to Sellercloud.

On Sellercloud:

Mapping

Mapping refers to aligning the headers within Sellercloud to match with Seller Snap. To begin this phase of the setup, users will need to be on the Sellercloud Dashboard and click Settings:

And then navigate to Mapping > Manage Export Mapping Profiles:

Users will need to create a new Mapping Profile by clicking on the blue button at the lower-right corner of the interface:

The profile should have the following values:

  • Profile Name: Seller Snap
  • Profile Type: Product
  • Export File Type: CSV
  • Template File: This would be the Flat File we created. Users will need to attach it by clicking on the paperclip icon.
  • Check the box for Export File with Headers.

Once ready, click on the Add button.

Users will now see Column Mapping Section:

NOTE: Other than SKU and COST, adding further export column names for mapping are optional.

Please enter the following details:

  • SKU: bvc_Product.ID
  • Cost: bvc_Product.AverageCost (see Note below for options)

Note: Users have the option to use the following for Costs:

  • Last Cost— Cost of the items in the last purchase order received before the order was created.
  • Site Cost— The current value entered in the product summary’s Site Cost field.
  • Average Cost— Cost of the units continually averaged from the price on POs at the time of receipt.

For further inquiries regarding Cost, please contact Sellercloud.

Once done, users will need to make sure to save the mapping profile by clicking the save button located at the top-right corner of the Sellercloud interface just below the name:

Saved Search

After Saving the Mapping Profile users will need to create a Saved Search. This determines which data that will be sent to Seller Snap. To start, users will need to navigate back to the previous menu by clicking on Back to Homepage:

Users will then need to click on Catalog > Manage Catalog.

On the Manage Catalog section, users will need to click on Add Filter and find: Amazon Status.

Users will then see the Filter Added for Amazon Statuses:

Users will then go under that filter and look for Posted and Active.

The Filter will change color from Grey to Yellow, and then to Green once users click Search. It will also display the results.

Optional Step - Users who have multiple companies/accounts on Sellercloud may set them accordingly:

The last step in this phase is to simply save the view and give it a name like:

"Seller Snap - Posted and Active"

Scheduling the Task

The last phase of the setup will require users to schedule the task. To begin, users will need to click on the Settings button:

And then navigate to Scheduled Tasks > Manage Scheduled Tasks:

From there, users will need to click on the Green + button located at the bottom-right corner of the interface:

Users will then need to type the following:

  • Task Type: Export Products
  • Task Name: Repricer Feed
  • Company: Select if applicable.
  • Start time: Users will decide what time the report will start being sent to Seller Snap. The next step will let the user set the frequency.

Users may now see the Task in the list. From here, select to edit the Task.

To begin editing the Scheduled Task that was created, users must click the Edit button located at the top-right corner of the interface:

After users have decided the Frequency, they will need to fill out the section under Details:

  • User ID: Select the appropriate ID.
  • Saved Search: Select "Seller Snap - Posted and Active" or the name of the saved search the user entered before.
  • Export Via: Select the "Export Mapping Profile: Seller Snap" that was created before.
  • File Name: Users have some options when entering the filename:
  1. Entering the placeholder #?QueuedJobID?# populates the filename with the queued job ID.
  2. Use {yyyy}{MM}{dd} to populate the filename with the date of file creation. For example, enter the filename as follows:  PHI_ONHAND_{yyyy}{MM}{dd}
  3. Use {MM}{dd}{yyyy}{HH}{mm}{ss} – where HH = hours, dd = day, mm = minutes, and ss = seconds – to populate the filename with the current date and time. For example, enter the filename as follows:  PHI_ONHAND_{MM}{dd}{yyyy}{HH}{mm}{ss}

The final step is to fill out the Export Options. Users need only set the option to FTP and fill out the information using the details generated by Seller Snap in the very first step of this guide - On Seller Snap: Creating FTP Credentials.

Important: Users need to make sure that the Remote Folder has the correct information and that the checkbox for Use Secure FTP is checked with the setting for Explicit FTP Over TLS.

Once filled out, users may test the FTP connection to make sure that the credentials are working:

Users may now Save the Task located at the top-right corner of the interface:
