Overview
Seller Snap makes it easy for users to set mins and maxs by enabling users to use Cost-based Markup Tiers. With this system, users can set tiers where each tier has a cost range and is tied to a markup %.
For example, users can set it up like this:
Tier 1: For all products that cost between $1 and $50, the system will put a markup of 25%.
Tier 2: All that cost between $51 and $100, a markup of 20% is applied.
Tier 3: And products costing $101 and above, the markup will be set to 15%.
Activating Tier Markup
Seller Snap will automatically calculate Min & Max values based on which tier the cost of a good falls into. Stores with Auto-Adjust enabled will have the option to use this tool and there is no limit to the number of tiers a user can create.
Note: Users are able to continue to use just one tier in order to set a standardized markup amount across all SKUs.
To enable this feature, go to Store Settings > Min & Max > Toggle the Auto Adjust Min/Max switch to ON:
A pop-up notification will advise users to take precautions before proceeding.
It is recommended to disable repricing temporarily and export a backup copy of the current Min and Max prices. This ensures users retain a reference to their existing pricing structure and can be used to easily restore mins/maxs if needed.
Select "I understand, continue" to select your Min & Max source.
Users have the option to enable Tier Markup for either min, max, or both.
Once enabled, users can set multiple markup tiers like so:
Users will now need to scroll to the bottom of the page and select "Apply Changes".
A pop-up will ask the following and users are asked to select their desired option as a response:
Apply to all listings - set the new markup amounts for all listings on the store level.
Maintain current values - only adjust listings that do not currently have min and max prices set up
Min & Max values will update automatically, however, this can take several minutes depending on the quantity of SKUs in the store.
Deactivating Tier Markup
Users may disable Tier Markup on Min or Max by unselecting Tier Markup as the source value:
